I really enjoy weaving beads, on a loom. Through my journey I find this stage the most relaxing.
The design creation takes me some thought. I consider every color and finish. This time, however, I am weaving Japanese seed beads, not my stardard Delicas. The palette for seed beads are almost half as many as Delicas. (11/0 beads sizes.) So my colors had to be tested and considered.
Now, I'm able to weave comfortably, getting into the zone I crave. Size and colors worked out, follow a word chart to only count once and use a two weft method of weaving (minimizes the number of weft changes.)
The ideas are swirling for edging and fringe 😉
